QUOTE But I think if our best answer to rudeness is self-righteousness, we're missing something. Wow, that says it all................................ I think that yes rudeness is on the rise, but our reaction to it is on the rise as well. Being the one to point out someones lack of common sense is a bad one for me. I wish people would just use the little brain they were born with. I sometimes have to stop myself.............. And think,...

Check out the Original Brochure for the '77 Boler in the Document centre. It has a couple of pictures and as sold prices you might find interresting. I would agree with Raya L, that it looks like it may be original gel coat colours. It will always need to be cleaned and polished to look new, BUT, if painted, it will always need to be repainted after a few years and then cleaned and polished to look presentable. That is a nice colour...

The Subaru part number is SCI600078, the Tow Ready part number is 118461. I will post up some pictures of the actual unit once I get out of my jammies and brave the monsoon that's going on outside! QUOTE (Lee Senn @ Nov 6 2009, 02:37 PM) Danielle I am reasonably sure Home Depot will have something similar to Lowes so I bet you can find what you need there. I lived in New Mexico for 35 years, until just recently, and traveled the state extensively on my job. There are Lowe's stores in Alamogordo, Albuquerque, Clovis, Espanola, Farmington, Las Cruces and Santa Fe. You are right! We just moved here 6 months...

Good News and Bad News

Homeowner's insurance almost never covers anything with a license plate. In fact most will cover nothing with an engine (thanks Lyndy) unless it is directly related to home maintenance , Like a lawn mower or roto-tiller.

Hi Danielle - this is only mildly related to your question, but wanted to mention a mod we feel was one of the best ideas EVER - we 'borrowed' it from Joy A who used it in her Scamp 13. We (asked the factory to) cut a small rectangular opening in the 'slanted' front wall of each dinette bench and fit it with a matching door. This allows visual and practical access to the fresh water valve and/or the electrical side. Since...

Hi Rob, The pre 75's didn't have an inverter, just the breaker. The 75's on had the Progressive Dynamics model. I replaced mine as well as adding a battery and a battery shelf, here's a discussion on it: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/index.ph...mp;#e ntry273675 What's wrong with your ensolite? It's hard to find and you can fix small tears or retractions fairly easily. I went with...

Lynn, My Dad did a turkey on the grill every year, Mom would oven bake one and he would smoke or grill one. I don't care for gravy made from the drippings of a grilled Turkey, (too smokey for me) but you could make gravy before hand then take along., but the Turkey it self is yummy! Actually you could make your whole dinner before hand and take it, I personally like the left overs better. I...

You can make plain screws look a little better with inexpensive finishing washers found at hardware stores or building centers. Available in different sizes, they can be used with tapered seat wood screws or machine screws. They really increase the holding power of simple screws. If you have had a problem with loose screws causing the holes through fiberglass to become elongated when your ...

Mark..... Mine has locked up already and it was from rust buildup inside the tube..... try taking a block of wood held up against the lower section of the leg and using a hammer against the block of wood "Gently" try to tap it back out to unjam it...... Don't bang it "In" as that will just cause it to get tighter. Hope this helps Joe

QUOTE (Dana T @ Nov 3 2009, 08:40 PM) Did you also have insurance coverage for the trailer? I bought a policy for the trailer from my auto insurance agent -- it was pretty cheap, something like $23/year -- even though I doubt it covers the trailer when it is not attached to the car. So that means I don't expect any coverage while in the campground, or parked at home. I got the ...
