i know this sounds harsh but to be honest im sick to the back teeth of hearing about it. dont get me wrong, i really, really feel for these people, i cant imagine how devastating it must be to lose everything, but does it really have to be headline news every single day in every single paper, on every single radio and tv? it happens every year, without fail. its called winter. rain comes, rivers swell and people get flooded. sometimes the same...

If it is a better car, have a day out and get it! If you're gonna keep it long term, the age won't matter much when you sell it.

They are for the 2006 onwards (i.e. Gen 2s). Shameless thread hijack, but for those who have a Gen 2, the following bits will be for sale (never got around to it when I sold the bike) - Power Commander III USB, Copperdawg Seat Cowl (silver) and Sargent Saddle Seat. I'll pop a post in the "for sale" section tonight with a few pictures

Slight word of warning. If your other half is small she may not be able to actually get on the bike with a pair of large hard luggage sidecases! I found this out the hard way & downgraded from Givi 36 litre side panniers to the smaller 21 litre sidecases (topbox can obviously still be as large as you want). Unfortunately (for me) these were still too difficult to 'negotiate' past so I had...
