Just my 2 cents. Drain the oil, remove it, spray paint it with flat black, then put it back on and refill with good oil. Mission complete!

well, all is good in the world of the wolf, battery now charged, and bike ready to rock.....did not ride last night, as we are experiencing some rather nasty storms in Adelaide tonight.....tree's falling over, lots of wind, thunder, and most scarily, lots of lightning. Will be back out there tomorrow...i mean today, terrorising cagers with the TB's, without the baffles!

I'm really starting to think I want to upgrade to a 1000cc bike now. I was wondering if the forum has any thoughts on the differences and what I might expect when I throw a leg over the bigger bike.

I am trying to lower the rear end on my new fz6r. I can't find ANYTHING on what I need to do it. The only advice I got from the dealer is to soften the spring rate in the rear end. I will ABSOLUTELY not do that! I like a stiff ride.

I recently got a 2005 FZ6 with the M4 exhaust put on. The previous owner showed me the website where the stock is from (I can't seem to find it now), and it is a $750 exhaust. I am not a big fan of loud exhausts, so I am looking to trade for a stock exhaust plus some cash. I am located in Southern Utah, so ideal would be somebody who was close by. I think it would be a fair trade to go...

Well with all of the speculation on the future of the FZ6 in the U.S., coupled with all of those lucky devils jumping to liter bikes, most notably the FZ1, I decided to call Yamaha US Customer Relations, (800) 962-7926, and ask them point blank, "Is the FZ6 out of production after 2009?" The answer...drum roll please...; "We don't know. We won't know until September. You can call us ...

I changed out my spark plugs on my '07 today. I read other threads on the subject. Here is my take on the change op: I think that some manuals (Hayes?) might cite numerous steps because somebody is assuming that, there exists too much of a risk of a novice DIY'er stripping spark plug threads. There is a necessity of a person's ability to be a half-decent judge of the right "feel" when inserting ...

Now that I am 21 my plans are to obtain my concealed weapon carrying permit. Does anybody on here carry a gun with them on the bike? I'm just curious as I'm researching all of the aspects that go along with carrying a weapon. I think it would be really hard to properly carry a gun while on the bike especially while wearing gear. If anybody has any personal experience in the matter ...

Being a federal agent living in the state of Arizona, I've seen the evil and sin of America. Ive arrested drug dealers, gang member, Mexican cartel, terrorists, etc. Confiscated countless weapons, hundreds of thousands of pounds of drugs. These people are living within miles of your homes. It would be who of you to carry some sort of intermediate or deadly force weapon to protect yourself and...

I made the mistake of walking into my Yamaha dealership and asking my friendly sales guy "What if?" Since Eric traded in his FZ6 I can't get this out of my head. Obviously he's a super liked member and I always love his posts and learned a ton from him. So if he sees a big difference in the bikes I know I can take that to the bank. Now I want to be clear here. I've got 10,000 miles on the Fizz ...
