To all the ladies who have recently been in a wedding- what's the most you've ever spent on a bridesmaid dress (pre-alterations, shoes, etc.)? I'm in my friend's wedding and was informed that the dress would cost $300! Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but that seems like an awful lot of money to ask someone to spend on a dress that will only be worn once (of course, she says that it's "totally...

Whoa, Heroes is a three hour premiere? Besides that, I'll probably be tuning into Samantha Who, Chuck, Terminator, Pushing Daisies, Grey's, Ugly Betty, Life, and Amazing Race. Thanks for the link.

I have read this comic strip for longer than I can remember. I always find it sad when a comic strip finishes. I took me a long time to get over the loss of Calvin and Hobbes. http://www.cbc.ca/arts/media/johnston.html

What are your most anticipated programs of the coming season for men? I am pretty sure we have all the music selections by now, with various hints of what the programs will be like. Many guys made changes to their choreographers this year with promise of new styles and surprises. Which programs are you most looking forward to? Buttle : His choice of music for his FS is really ...

Anyone watch tonight? I almost forgot even though it is my favorite reality/game show! Liking the cast so far. I think Brian is so cute, Steven is cute as well and I have a thing for gay cowboys! Don't really have too many opinions yet, it is too soon to say. Liked the nominations though and can't wait for POV.

Hi FSUers, I'm planning to have my very first Christmas away from home this Christmas, and so want it to be a White Christmas! I have lived away from home for several years, but always go home for Christmas. This year I've decided not to. I have about 18 days and I'm thinking the UK and France. Any advice or suggestions? FSUers available for meet up? The flight will be paid for by my ...

The realtor and I both agree this house is to be marketed to young, first-time home buyers. She advised me to pitch out anything that smacked of "old lady decor." Since the realtor and I are both middle aged, I think we both probably do have items/decor that sez "old lady" but we are too close to it to see it. So. I need to hear from some young people, like those under 30, as to what sez "old ...

The ones for Freecreditreport.com (uh, which, btw, isn't free). That twenty something kid who lip synchs, badly, about not being able to get a good car to pick up chicks because he didn't check his credit report first, is NOT cute. I don't like the Geico cavemen. And the woman with the heavy make up, who may be with Geico as well, who says "big tripped-out name tag," is another pain too ... | |
