Every vehicle I have heard in person with the Super 44 sounded good, even on the horrible 4.0L V6. With the added tubing length of trucks they sound great, but I do not like the Super 44s in Mustangs, the Original 40s dont sound half bad on them but the 44s aren't too good. They now call the Original 40 the Standard 40 since it went out of production for 2yrs so if anyone cant find a true Flowmaster original 40 brand new, try Standard 40.

Good grief - I have no doubt that Real is quite happy with the P-rated tires on his truck, but the OP needs LT's for what he is doing . I'm not going to budge on that no matter how much Real can quote from any sources. What do I run? I run P-rated highway tires (BFG Long Trail). Why? I have no need for LT's. It's a 2wd truck, it SELDOM leaves paved roads, it never tows more than 3000#, and it seldom gets anything heavy...

Yea it took me 3 nights @ 4 hours each to get my notch done, and then a final night to put the bed and bumper back on..... But i welded inside and out, not just drilled and bolted Just grab you some 3" hangers, sell your 2" hangers to derek if he doesnt have by this spring. then do a 3" shackle, or find some 99-02 lightning leafs. I too dont care for flip kits.

The FX4 has the 4.10 rear end if I recall Correctly. It has rancho shocks and black head lights I believe as well. Basically it will have a more aggressive ride dude to the FX4 package but still luxurious from my observations.

I'm coming to realize that most Americans want some sort of Marxist/Socialist/Facist hybrid system.
Either that, or they simply don't care. Either way, most people foolishly trust the government to do what is best.
In the new Amerika, we will keep a few remants of Capitalism and our Constitution as window dressing. That will make the change easier to sell to the masses.

245/70/17's are close to the same height, and are available in LT C, D, and E. They are about 0.4" shorter than stock. If you can find any 255/70/17's in LT, that's an exact height match.

Exhaust is about the only thing I would do and the reason most are not saying much about intakes is because is if you are not going to break the 500hp barrier the stock one fitlers and flows just fine. Save your money for when the injectors and turbo need to be replaced cause it aint cheap.

the 4.6s gas mileage isnt that much better than the 5.4s. the 46 has to work harder to move your 4x4 4 door truck.

Put a MotorCraft FL-820S on it, my dad has an 07 with a 5.4 and he used Fram oil filters and it always knocked and ticked when he'd first start it up. I put a MotorCraft on it and it hasn't done it since. A lot of guys on here say they have the same problem with Fram because it doesn't have anti-drain valve like MotorCraft.

No, Motorcraft, Denso Iridiums or NGK. Champions are for lawn mowers.

21 MPG are yu kidding me? I think the TV is for a standard cab not 4 X 4. Basically for a base model. I average 16.5 or so combination driving. I will say that the mileage is slightly worse on my '09 than it was on my '06. Kind of disappointing as I thought the 6 speed transmission would help. In reply to those that say what did you expect? I did not expect this model to be slightly worse....
