Okay, it's evidence in a dismissed case and "must be destroyed". Got it. But what if it is evidence in ANOTHER case? Don't they have a duty to keep it around, if the plaintiff wants it submitted into evidence for the new case?

Simulated Stereo and myself probably had our first big concert experience with the same band on the same tour. '85 Iron Maiden, I saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon with my big bro. My bro bought me the ticket as a birthday present, and it was one of the best birthday presents I've ever received.

Anybody else been subjected to a kind of emotional blackmail about spending vacation outside Korea? I'm not going home but I am going off to another country for summer vacation. I've had students and teachers ask me why I am not staying in Korea for most of summer vacation. My truthful answers would be: Because summer in Korea sucks bigtime. Horrible humidity, horrible constant insect and ...

I'll never understand why this culture views suicide as such a viable option. ( link ) Quote: NEW YORK -- More than 30 Koreans in New York City have committed suicide this year. According to a Korea Times survey of the three major Korean funeral parlors in New York and New Jersey -- Jung-Ang Funeral Parlor, Je-Mi Funeral Parlor and Kim, Ki-Ho Yae Hospital -- 31 Koreans ...

Alright Hoju, its your time to shine. Assuming I can get a visa (I've been trying for a week now and been denied once) where should I go? I have no guidebook, but I do have a very good sense of direction and no fear of death. I will be entering through Vanimo, god willing, and because the consulate girl made me buy a plane ticket out of Vanimo, I will be going to Wawek. I want to make my way ...

It really does take a certain class of person to want to have a pet snake. The kind of person who can't be content with a cat or dog, like normal people. The kind of person who will inevitably be negligent in his treatment of the animal - because he's real fuckin' thtoopid - giving rise to tragedy. The kind of person who will totally ignore the obvious fact that keeping pets such as snakes and ...

http://koreabeat.com/?p=8559 The drumbeat against English teachers seems to be getting louder. There have been some pretty good smear pieces in the Korean media lately, but I got to say, this one really takes the cake. Ceasless sexual assualts and rape. Quote: Similarly, the native speaker instructors have not ceased to engage in sex crimes such as molestation and rape, and ...

OK, so my boss comes into my office to talk to my coworker about his schedule next semester. It seems that a new law went into effect in Korea today that limits the number of hours that <foreign/all?> professors can teach per week. The new cap is 14 hours. I am 9 so this doesn't bother me, but my buddy is at 15 and must lose 1 class and now at 12 hours. No biggie, but I wonder how this...
