bmw 325i running a bit rough

Plugs would be the first place I would start. Once they are done then leads, check your idle control valve (give it a tap, and/or disconnect and see if the problem gets worse), the water temperature sensor (the blue connector by the thermostat, just fiddle it, and/or unplug). Like has been said already, the ECU controls timing, and if it fails I would assume you would have more than a rough idle. Have a loot at the throttle position sensor...

Mines not a 560 but a 500SEC Hong Kong Import, but i bought it all ready to go. So i had no money to spend on compliance etc. Not sure about the specs though, as far as i know quite a few aus spec 560 have pollution gear on them

Geez lots of qs there ain't too much different between models to the aniversery models in 1998. Good choice of car. Definetly the 6sp full manual is the one to go for the clutch lines are a weak point but I'd consider replacing the whole clutch/flywheel with a light weight 8.5lb one(STD ones are like over 20lb) which will really wake the car up in the low gears and will rev it's ass off

Another thing is, if I lower it I'm not sure if my wheels will be too big. As you can see in the pictures the tyres sit pretty much as far out as they can with regard to the fender. As it sits now it's pretty easy to cause the front tyres to smash into the lip on the wheel well or knock the 'is' lip off. Does anyone think putting in 'sport' suspension will make this a major problem?...

I think there was a rule put up or something? i dont know. But anyway that thing has been for sale many times before. Bit pricey for a pretty standard M535i with some alpina bits on it. I'd prefer the black one thats for sale (the guy is on ecca)

Victorians are allowed to use them in 'adverse conditions.' Only problem is there isn't a definition for what constitutes 'adverse conditions.' There are a lot of different fog lights though. Some big ones on earlier WRXs can be quite distracting, whilst others aren't at all.

Nice idea for a thread! I am in 2 minds as to whether I like this pic or not - my tripod actually broke mid-photo shoot which is why the pic in my sig is straight and this one isn't, but I thought the angle worked OK anyway (I hate angled car pics!) and I do like this one better than the uncropped version of my sig pic. Apologies for the size.
