Hi! I can't manage to get PHP5 to work with an Apache2 installation on Mac OS X Tiger. Apache doesn't give me any error messages when it restarts. I forgot I'd switched on Apple's PHP module when I installed the Entropy one. (I know, but it was over a year since I'd given up on Apple's one and used MAMP!) Mac OS 10.4 and Entropy 5.2.4 PPC. The instructions say "bad things will happen" but what does that mean and how can I make things work? I turned off the Apple module and thought I'd removed the Entropy one to try again. ...

Hey, heres my problem. I downloaded " PHP 5.2.4 for Apache 1.3" for mac from your site. When I click on the downloaded item- entropy-php-5.2.4-1.tar - the instal wizard pops up. First thing I noticed that wasn't working was that sometimes it completely skips the "Destination Select" step. The second thing though, is that just after the Installation step, in the summary it says: ...

Hi all, I seem to have had a disaster installing PHP from the 5.2.4 installation kit. I got the postflight error. I followed the instructions in this thread: http://www.entropy.ch/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3074 and the installation apparently went OK - no postflight error anyway. I installed Entory's PHP and got it up and running (needed the GD module) and everything looks great, but when I attempt to connect to mySql from php I get an access denied error. I can connect to MySql from the Gui, Coldfusion and the terminal without any issues, so somehow I managed to screw up the install. The MySql was already installed before I installed Entropy...
