I'll test that out for ya, that demo, the kiwi has a better sound when he gets killed Edit Ok I tried it out on my default Classic Workbench UAE 4000 Power Setup, music played very slow until I adjusted a few things. Turn off JIT (common problem with WHDLoad games) Changed CPU Emulation Speed to adjustable and moved it up one notch. With these settings it ran perfectly, nice work

Hires and fast movement
Published (2009-11-21 21:57:00)
I suspect this might not be fixed. Included is a screenshot from Pinball Prelude, which goes into Hires Interlaced mode when multiball is activated. As you can see from the screenshot, anything that is fast moving like the balls and the flippers develops interlaced lines.

The A500 may be the most popular, but really, it was the A1000 that started

Nice find
I recently soaked some banana coloured keys in a mixture of bleach and vanish oxy for two days and left in direct sunlight for a further four days... the results were very good, but not pure white / ivory.
I will try the peroxide test and post my findings.
Thanks for the tip.

In the Zone! again
for Angus:
Some people prefer (me for example) the original format of the programs, and the most similar format to original is the ADF (or IPF)

Even if they were very simple Ham6 animations I doubt that you could get such high frame rates (25fps) on a 7.xx mhz 68000 in a standard A1000. You would need to find a compromise between high colour depth, resolution, anim compression method used and high frame rates.
I converted a few AVI files to HAM6 format that was streamed along with sampled sound from the same drive to play video ...

WinVice should work with virtual hd drives. But you can't start D64 images from hd. You need IDE64 patched game versions.

as a musician myself, i have no problems with the same sounds being re-used, as long as it doesnt sound stale. With chiptunes, you'll barely notice. with samples... a few arent so bad, if the application suits the requirements... even big names of music production do it.
however, with regards to Whittaker, his strength really is in composition i feel, and so almost anything is forgivable....

Were there any games you enjoyed more playing from floppies than installed to a harddrive, or use WHD Load? And reason?
My first example would be probably Powermonger . I was simply fascinated by a characteristic sounds of FDD during loading parts of this wonderful game.
Also I enjoyed playing SWIV from diskette - that smart loading routine impressed me.
And also cracked Turrican II...
