Downloading brushes

I've never had any problems with any site I've downloaded brushes from... mainly I look for good high resolution brushes. If a site shows a preview of the brushes with a number beneath the preview, that usually is the size (in pixels) of the brush. The larger, the better quality, when used in images you intend to print. If you are a subscriber at Photoshop Elements Techniques, there are several great tutorials on making Christmas...

Yes - sorry mistype - I meant OzPeter, I since edited the orig post. Thanks. Over in HV20.Com the folk there seemed quite against converting AVCHD to another [permanent] format and then rendering from that. I think mainly due to slight quality degradation and generational loss. I have not tried it myself. Could be worth looking into...I'll give it a go. Paul. Unfortunately, there are many reasons why the PSE Editor might crash, and often it is hard to diagnose quickly the reason for the crash. Here are some steps you can take to try to fix the problem: http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/...Editor_crashes

Yes, a lot of people there...all in Santa hats, btw. I figured you probably had left by the time I posted. Corey is very skilled. I always enjoy seeing what he comes up with. I also met a very nice gentleman who drove up from Salem, Oregon this morning (left at 3 a.m.), and drove back tonight ! We had a nice chat before things got rolling, and during breaks as well. I picked up a few ideas I'd like to try for our school's basketball...

Hi Waldfarm... welcome to Elements Village.
What is your experience level with Photoshop Elements? This would not be a good beginning project for someone starting out, but we will be glad to help if we can.
First of all, can you post the photo you wish to remove the person from? There are different methods for different situations. Here are some instructions for posting an image using ...

Hi ...
Try changing the settings so that when you open up Elements it opens in the Editor and not the Organiser.
Then hold down the Control, Alt and Shift Keys with one hand and click on the Elements start up icon with the mouse. Keep on holding down those three keys until until you get a screen asking if you want to delete Settings ... just say Yes.
... however I haven't come across ...

Unless there is something new to the latest OS X that I don't know about, you will have to install some software and a copy of Windows on you Mac.
I use a Mac at work, and I have a copy of Windows XP installed through Parallels Desktop.

I have seen that comment made somewhere recently before, and I need to track it down to see what the outcome was before I start troubleshooting your question.
What does the end product look like if you continue on without the re-rendering the rendered? Watch out that you do not create an overload crisis in those scratch files with all the rendering and re- renderings of the same ...

Hi raider,
did some experimenting.
Whatever your foreground color chip is - that is what the color of your shape will be.
You can change the color of your foreground chip and use the paint bucket tool to change
to a new color.
You can right click your shape and choose simplify to change it to a regular layer.
If you Ctrl+click on the thumbnail in the layers palette you can use the pattern ...

For starters, take a look at this FAQ on Premiere Elements 7 system requirements which includes comments about Adobe published System Requirements vs computer recommendations by SG.

Thanks for the follow up.
I am looking forward to your reports on this and future projects.
You are doing a good job exploring and experimenting with the program to get it to work for you.
Keep up the good work.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using, version 8?
What is this background on video 1? One whole image or a series of images? Is the background a matte or something else?
