The general public does not want this monstrocity. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_conten... Monday, November 23, 2009 Just 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. Thats the lowest level of support measured for the plan in nearly two dozen tracking polls conducted since June. Scientist, Okay. Here's wishing you a long life, too. It's cool. Scientist wrote: <quoted text> I wished to you to get too old to drive, one of the two conditions YOU gave for using transit. In other words, I was wishing you a very long life. That's not a "bad" thing, is it? But, of course, if you are as biased as you seem to be, you always ascribe the worst intentions to others. Have a very long...

I hope you do get too old to drive, but what would happen if you looked for transit and it wasn't there because people like you voted against it to "save" taxes?

Trashman wrote: Let's take a simple approach to these arguments. Let's take all of the senior management jobs. Add all of their salaries into one lump sum. Divide by the number of managers and get a per capita pay for their 40 hour work week. Frequently managers work more than 40 hours and as exempt employees do not get compensated for that. Your calculations would need to take that into account if your comparison is based on...

Mantria's "green" community in Van Buren county, TN (Indian Trail) is built in a WWII era artillery range. The Corps of Engineers recommended that one section be stripped to bare rock before development due to frag & live munitions. Most of the rest would require excavation crews to be trained on what to do if they encounter live shells. There is no utility water. Ground water is impacted by ...

This editorial says the projected deficit is $800,000. It is actually $8.1 million. This hospital is in major trouble. Also, if you read Palmisano's "demands" for a partner, they are ludicrous. He essentially said, "We expect you will do absolutely nothing but give us money to wipe out our debt and then leave us alone to do what we've been doing for years, which is what put us in this mess."
