I checked with CBS in The Netherlands. They have at least 3 different strains. The ATCC should also carry A. muscaria. They will be fruiting here shortly. Fresh ones do not ship well. Worms appear, and they are usually received rotten. slp/fmrc

How accurate? It depends on how many griffons the OP interviewed.

I think the answer might be that they are both real and not real simultaneously. That perhaps our minds are able to roughly transmit other levels of perception that do not specifically correspond to our built in sensory equipment. A friend of mine likes kava kava and says it reliefs anxiety , but he likes mulungu resin even more, gives instant relief and also tastes good! One should take it easy, because it knocks you out at high doses. Kratom deserves to be mentioned as well.
I believe kanna is a bit different, since the effect seems to get better after frequent use, the other mentioned are good on short term basis....
