"Of the 220,000 vehicles GM sold since the promotion went into effect in September, about 653 customers have opted for the 60-day guarantee coverage instead of the $500 cash rebate. Of the 653 customers, about 140 have initiated returns or exchanges and 53 have completed the return/exchange process, for a return of less than 1 percent total." I'll say the Cimarron, but now I'm not sure if you're looking for the name of a model that used to be a brand (Zephyr, etc.), or the name of a model that gave a brand a bad image.

I'd go back and get a refund. You don't want mats that can slide around, at least for the driver. As koho955 mentioned, a redesigned rubber mat plus a change in the gas pedal will be performed under a recall, so you should just use the carpet mats for now, but make sure the latter are properly secured!

hopefully, the 'holier than thou' corporate attitude has been knocked down a few pegs. i would think ford would be thrilled to sell an SHO anyway they can through their dealership network. between my wife and i we owned 1 of each of the first 3 generations of SHO's. bought them all at mom and pop ford dealers. i remember seeing my first one at a gas station in NY on our way to michigan. the driver said he was on his way back...

Also, at that price, there would be no reason to advertise. A 4 sale sign in the window. Wouldn't last a couple of hours drive around town. Something ain't right.

The claims adjuster looked over the car a couple hours ago, and unfortunately, it's borderline. She said she needed to do some more checking around, and won't have a definite answer on whether it's a total until Monday. So now I get to sweat it out all weekend! On a brighter note though, I played around with some loose wires and got the headlights working again. And I think I found the wires that are making the check...

this entire fiasco is 100% my fault; I should have known that there is no way that you can buy a competent dual-purpose new car for $25,000 Thank you for your comments about your Mazda experience...zoom zoom. If I ever get the urge to buy a Mazda, your comments would certainly have stopped me. It does confirm my theory that it is better to spend a little more and buy what you really like. It might end up costing an extra...

As long as they have it registered in the same state as you then you shouldn't have any problem getting it registered again.

Volt is being built based on a small common architecture.
It says "will share sheet metal with models sold in other regions". Means that a Chevy Cobalt here may have the same sheet metal as the Opel whatever sold in Europe. Does not say share in same regions but then again it does not say they will not share.
What years do you think the Regal/Monte/GP ever shared any sheet metal. ...

It's hard to say considering the state of the economy. In normal times I would say in the same manner as the last three MY's, but with car sales in the tank, there may be more fanfare with this rollout.

Do not fall for sales pitch of pushy salesman, you will regret. I have paid $25,742 OTD, back in August w/2K rebate for 07, for LE 8 seater with package #3, buy a new one, you are almost paying new van cost for a (ab)used one.

Those leaks seem to be related to
1) door seal inside door which is a plastic sheet held by a butyl-like sticky caulk that sometimes loosens or is not replaced during a repair and lets water in
2) sunroom drain lines not draining properly and water gets into floor area
3) a trunk leak
I have sent some more information about leaks to your carspace email account here on Edmunds. Click...

BMW created a bump on the hood to fit the V8, which is very noticeable.
Did I mention the M3?
Anyway, I would buy that car, hood bump regardless. It still looks stunning.
Also, nobody is making a rule that the factory tuner super sedans are supposed to be "wolfs in sheeps' skins" just because the Germans do so. Why can't Lexus creates its own style?
Well, they did, and it...

1998 Autobahn 82000 miles, owned since 1998 and 12000 miles. About two months ago with the engine running at idle I noticed a humming or whirring sound coming from the rear of the car. Anyone know what that could be? I don't have a compact disc changer in the trunk, and the trunk is dead empty.
I shut off the radio, still the humming. Shut off the climate control, still the humming. Got ...

Hi-
I'm new to leasing and for a 2010 Tacoma I was given a $330/mo, $2500 down from the dealer I went to after credit being run. I am in MA and was wondering if this is a good deal? However at the end they said we should have GAP insurance with a lease and that would add on approx. $20/month to the payment. Is it necessary to get GAP insurance or should I check with my insurance company ...

Car_man,
what is the current residual and mf for a 36 month 12K per year lease on the RX330? Are there more competitive 39 month numbers as well. Also, do you know how the current multiple security deposit program works for Lexus?
Thanks

I am one of the most maligned cars in U.S. history, but not necessarily the most famous one that everyone laughs at. I don't understand why. I was attractive, technically interesting and fun to drive. Had someone shown more interest in me, I might have developed over time into a unique American creation.
Even today, I'm not worth very much. Sadly I may never be rehabilitated.

to do well at, nippon. Toyota will continue to be successful if this statistic continues to be favorable for them. My current car's manufacturer, Mitsubishi, could use some of that mojo. Their return customer average was only 31%. Very near the statistic for Kia Motors, my other favorite car maker.

I want to hear what problems Land Rover tried to sweep under the rug! j/k
Toyota: sludging 2.2 and 3.0 in the late 90s (at least, some would say they tried to sweep it under the rug, including all those in the lawsuit action class that eventually won their suit), failing head gaskets on the 3.0 (different 3.0) from '90-'95. (and a few '96s, there was eventually a silent recall and a 100K ...

Man, probably you gave a gift (700.00) to VW dealer. The only thing to do when you pump gas instead diesel is just to pump out the gas and pump diesel into. To do this, you only need a hose (4 or 5 feet), and tank to preserve a gas, and that's it (these tools you will find in any gas station. Nothing to pass, the rest of gas on the tank (you never will pump out 100%) it will cause nothing to your...

Yes, the 200 series cars were W110 - slightly shorter, with single lights instead of dual (or lichtenheiten). There was no 4cyl W111 car, but there was a 6cyl W110 car - the 230.
I had a W126 300SE, good car.
