Yep, abortion papers. My paperwork didn't say anything about it going to the lab or being cremated, much less a memorial service. I dunno, maybe back in '95 Pregnancy and Infant Loss wasn't a remembered thing yet...I think the legislation was passed after that. Anyway, it was emotionally brutal to have to sign those release forms before surgery :( Homeschooling Mom to 'Lil Bloggers Kaitlyn (11) and Kristopher (6) and...

Im sorry for your loss and everything you have gone through!! The feeling that you are having are completely normal- I still get ill over the thought that I "killed" my baby- it hurts so bad (and my EP was 14 months ago!) so I can't say that the pain of that thought doesn't go away, but it doesn't come as often! Again I am so sorry for your loss- its a very horrible and tramatic thing to have to go through, and your...

Hi! That really sucks that your experiences were so different! I had methotrexate in Sept. and my bleeding was just as you described- heavy cramping and heavy bleeding with large blood clots that came out. The dr told me that each time your level drops, more of your uterine lining breaks off and it has thickened to prepare for pregnancy so it is not uncommon to have bleeding that is heavier than a period and full of clots. My numbers dropped...

((((HUGS)))) I am so sorry... I too am going through this, for the second time this year. This time they didn't wait to see if it was ep or not. But, I lost the baby... I lost the last one over Easter. And, this one over Christmas.... I don't know when it gets better, but I know it does. I too find myself wondering why this is happening to me. There are so many pg women around me that shouldn't be. My boss had an affair to have...

Hopefully everything works out with the RE, maybe after seeing him a few more timesyou'll like him more ... I have the tendency todislike anyDr. when I first meet them.I'd be a little wary of him too with his comments concerning your EP, but hopefully he'll give you the help you need. It sounds like clomid is the way to go since it should help you ovulate regularly! I really hope everything works out and you get your sticky...

I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago tomorrow. The first pregnancy test I took was negative, so I assumed I wasn't pregnant. I also had a "period." I felt the baby move and tested right away. Guess I could feel it since it was in the smaller space of my tube. I knew something was wrong, and I pushed for someone to see me. The intital doctor didnt' want to see me until today. I'm glad I pressed for answers. I had an...

I found out I was pregnant on Dec. 8th and then had lacroscopic pregnancy on the 12th to remove the pregnancy. I lost my left tube also. We were trying for about 3 months to have a baby and we wanted it so badly. I already had some pre-existing problems with depression and I'm just hitting a brick wall of emotion and I just can't seem to get over it. I know it's only been two weeks but every time I see baby things or pregnant...

Hang in there Amy. An HSG can throw your cycle off a bit. It sucks bit try to be patient. My first 2 cycles after the HSG made me want to pull my hair out, then everything was completely normal. I am thinking good thoughts for you!! [

hi amy, don't worry about the side-effects of clomid they aren't as bad as I thought they would be...I just started clomid for the first cycle on Dec 9 and I'm just waiting to "O" now... When I took the pills for the 5 days I feltno side effects...day after my last pill...extremely emotional, crying over everything and a fitof rage too...ohand hot-flashes at night. I'm so sorry for your loss ((((((((Hugs))))))))) Ectopics can be so traumatic. One second your pregnant or maybe didn't even know and the next you are told the baby is dying and you need surgery or other emergency interventions. Your experience is similar to mine although we were ttc. I took hpts and they were negative and I had a 'period' but then 2 weeks later I had sudden pain that spread fast. Hours later I was in the...

I am sorry that you've had to go through this. I went through it a little over a month ago... luckily they were able to do the laparoscopy successfully and I had a short physical recovery. The feelings you're having are normal... I felt the same way, too. I even asked my husband the night before surgery if he felt like I was going in for an abortion. That's how I felt... like I was making...

I know exactly what you are going through. With my ectopic, I knew I was pg for 3 weeks, after 6 months of trying. I also ended up losing my tube. March will be 3 years since my surgery and I can say that it does get easier. I went through a depression for a while and that caused us to stop ttc till last summer. The first couple weeks-months can be very difficult. Surround yourself with ...

hello, I recently in august had the methotroxate drug to end a ectopic pregnancy. After about a week with mild cramping, I started to bleed and continued to bleed for about 40 days. In that time , I did too have some clots and had cramping. I would tell the doc every week when I went in to get blood tests done to see if the hormone levels were going down, but they weren't to concerned. ...

December 12th I had HCG levels checked. They were 22. On the 15th they were 49. Then on the 19th they were just 100. The doctor said this was either a non-viable pregnancy or an ectopic. I went in to have an ultrasound. They didn't see anything in my uterus or in the tubes. That Sunday I started to cramp and bleed slightly. On Monday when I talked to my Dr he recommended methotrexate. (This ...

Hmmmm, wow, this is certainly not your "normal beginning" to a pregnancy, but nothing points toward just one thing either. I guess at this point, your numbers going up would be a good sign, at least until something bad becomes definitive. Almost reminds me of a friend's pregnancy...she had awful pains because she kept developing ovarian cysts, and she also bled like a period for at least 3 ...

What did they tell you about future fertility? My doctor told me that it would be harder to get pregnant, and that I would only ovulate every other month. But posters here told me otherwise. And so did some of the things I read online. I don't want to have a baby right now. I' m single, and this was not planned. But I do want to have another baby someday. And I'm worried that I might not be ...

I think our bodies somehow know when we're ttc b/c my cycles are so messed up right now. I normally would go b/t 33-40 days, which is bad enough. My last cycle was 53 days and I thought that was bad, but my last period started Oct. 31 and I'm still waiting to get it again. I'm just praying for mine to start again so I can hopefully get back to normal. Hopefully everything will get back to ...

Congrats!!! Two pink lines is pregnant in my book. If your hcg was 8 a month ago from the m/c, that wouldn't be enough to give you a good strong positive like that. Plus, you said you're 14dpo...well you don't ovulate if you're still pregnant from a loss. So honey, you O'd 14 days ago, and now you're pg! I hope you'll have good betas when you get them drawn, and I hope this little one is ...
