a whole heap more mug time on television than Senator McCain? I find it interesting that so many people find Senator Obama to be such a fascinating, captivating person. Heck, one might even call him a media superstar. But, does such a winning personality and a 20 million ...

Working on a small rural (volunteer) service means we don't often get the trauma you get in the cities, but when we do, it can be just as catastrophic. Went on a call the other morning - roll over on the (gravel) highway - and when we got there I comletely zoned in on the one male
occupant who had been ejected from the ...

I was wondering about this and was curious if anyone could explain the thinking behind synchornized cardioversion for v-tach with a pulse, but unsynchronized defibrillation for pulseless v-tach? I know this is the
standard of care according to ACLS, I was just curious why we aren't worried about syncing for pulseless. ...

One of the team members from Canada’s 8 men rowing is a local; he was in the ER with his gold medal today and we all got to hold it and shake his hand. I am not a start struck sort of person but I have to say it was pretty cool to actually hold an
Olympic gold medal and meet someone that is the best in the world at what he...
