You are just fine with a skin that has a home and interior page layout.? Most skins that I work with only have the two different layouts. Once you upload the new skin to the site, you can then go though and modifiy the default skin setting within the "Admin"?->?"Site Settings" section.? Once you have updated that to use the new skin, all existing pages will be updated (unless you specifically set a skin for that...

No, hidden columns are no help here aswe are missing a method to retrieve the TEXT. For FnL, a token in finally just a string value, it doesn't know anything about it. Stefan Cullmann stefan.cullmann [at] gmail.com http://www.formandlist.com

i can second the installation woes, although from the above, my issues seems different. Latest of dnn and forum, never installed correctly. Uninstalls don't work either, and i had to manually remove all the *Forum* tables, to which 4 would never remove due to constraint issues. I had to design each table, removing all the relationships before being able to remove the other empty tables. Now.....

Yes, it is possible.
One example, using calculated column, using expression "iif([ticks:today]>=[nameofyourdatecolumn_UDT_Tick s],'ALARM','')"
You will find more examples here in the forum

I have the same issue using VS2005 C#. As this is a development box I changed the allowed extensions to include dnn. However, this did not work.
One other issue with c# is that creating a new project it fails as it attempts to use C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0 rather than v8 .
If you need to zip up various lumps of code to get this to work what ones do we zip?...

it is advisable, not to modify core code, you will need to reapply on every upgrade.
there has never been support for urltracking in rich text fields, the option needs to be disabled.
to use urltracking, linkclick.aspx needs to be used. Sebastian Leupold

Ah snap, I'm screwed. We have 1200 active users, our database is over 2gb, we take up 13gb space on the HD.
Seriously though, who comes up with this crap (besides somebody who is trying *really* hard to make you buy something you don't need)?
*EDIT* Wow, I just looked and our database is up to 10GB. (and I keep the logs clean). All I can say is HOLY CRAP! -- Jon Seeley

there are known vulnarabilities of DNN 4.9.3 - you should at least consider upgrading to 4.9.5, which fixes a number of security issues - though this looks different.
Besides, make sure, latest security updates have been applied to the OS and other applications are isolated/secured, especially ftp. Sebastian Leupold
