Jacks don't come in solid black. Patterdale: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/html/s...patterdale.jpg Mini Schnauzer- http://www.petsplace.co.za/mini%20sc...d,%20black.jpg and Cairn: http://www.petplanet.co.uk/petplanet...airnterr13.jpg came to mind. But it really could be anything from the description including a good old terrier cross of some sort.

Jenn, Kirkland is pretty darn small. It's not as flat as Taste of the Wild, but Chulita eats Kirkland and she's had 5 teeth pulled. I usually put water in it now, but it never really gets soft unless you let it sit forever.

I won't comment on teh declawing
But for weight, your pup's sides should feel like the back of your hand. Firm and bones felt under tissue. You want a nice tuck up when looking at the side.

I had to take these two to the woods today before Pepper loses her mind. I didn't want to go, i knew i would look up and she wouldn't be there and that was the way it was. A lonely walk. THey came back and said HEY and ran off again. I should have gone with someone but no one was really available. Victor roused up some turkeys and i filmed one for Puckstop that flew right past me. SHe would ...

One of these:
I am not sure the point of this but I've really been hankering for a phalene lately. It's kind of strange because I just didn't like drop ears at all but they've really grown on me a lot. It's a shame they're so incredibly hard to find in the US. A black and white phalene would round out our collection very well, don't you think?
I also want a bc like no other ...

How much truth is there to sayings like these:
- Chocolate labs are the craziest, yellows are the most mellow
- Similarly, red border collies are the craziest
- Or smooth border collies have a harder temperament than roughs
And a recent new one (for me)
- Phalenes have a more laid back, spaniel like temperament than papillons
I'm sure there are others in other breeds but these ...

CU is overwhelming to me, I've tried a few of times to get through it and fell asleep every time.
As someone with an over reactive dog, I feel pretty desperate for answers. I had hopes that book would show me the way. The hope I had, diminished soon after picking up this book.
I won't ever give up on Peyton, so I have to keep going, keep trying anything and everything. I'm trying to find...

My son and I had a conversation on the way about what we felt Jax would do once he saw the Sheep. We both agreed, it was either going to be nothing at all or very intense. We both thought nothing at all would happen. Jax is just too mild mannered….we thought.

I just finished Soul of a Dog and my mother listened to it on tape. WE both agreed it was excellent. There is one member here who reminds me a great deal of the writer and his dogs. I didn't want to sidetrack his thread so i thought i would start a new one. Have you read any of his books?
