Any other Cockapoo owners?
Published (2009-12-28 17:34:00)
That site was great... thanks Corky/Max. Oh, and my Cockapoo was friendly and loved other dogs when we lived in WV, also had cat buddies and any other critter that we'd pass by... but we moved to Maryland and more of a town atmosphere (leaving the country behind) and Gracie did not take well to this area. She changed! Very aggressive and wanting to pick fights with people and dogs that we pass by during our walks. I hate that she does...

About Commercial Dog Food!
Published (2009-12-24 04:44:00)
I stick with a natural diet for my dogs. I use a brand called Volhard. They premix the nutrients and I had either yogurt, vegetables, and water or meat and water. It's interesting comparing our dogs to their litter-mates at our reunions.

If I had a large breed dog I would probably go with Eagle Pack LB or Innova LB dog food.
Have you ever seen the great dane lady's website ( Introduction | GREATDANELADY.COM )? I found it to be very informative. She is a Great Dane breeder as well as a canine nutrition consultant.

I'd like to introduce to you... Gracie my once trouble-making Cockapoo. Gracie, for the first year of her life promoted problem after problem in our household. Just the antics of a normal puppy? Maybe. And then again, maybe this Christmas present (yes, she was a gift) came at a bad time in my life :???: Anyway... while Gracie was bringing down the house (the one we had just moved into one day...

Sorry but first of all you do not breed a bitch under 2 years. Secondly, since she is not 2 years (which is the minimum age for testing) it is obvious she has not been tested. Get a book on your breed, read up on all that is needed with regards to the breed. It will tell you the medical and health issues in the breed and outline tests that are needed prior to breeding to ensure pups are healthy ...

and as i have zero interest in supporting such a pastime-for-profit, i have zero interest in giving away what i have learned with my own effort and investment over the past 20-plus years, as a trainer.
i would personally be in strong support of desexing all 3 adult dogs.

First and foremost, there is NO such thing as a "teacup" anything when it relates to dogs. The term originated in the late 50's early 60's with a photo of a 6 week old Chihuahua in an over sized teacup in Life Magazine. The photo caption simply read "Teacup Chihuahua". People became idiots over the term and assumed that the dog was an adult. Since that time, ignorant breeders simply out to make a...
