Try a steering box brace. All dodges have that problem almost.
Either get the more expensive BD box brace, or this one:

i was thinking the exact same thing today while driving home from work.. since theres 2 empty slots in the middle between the driver and passenger heated seats.. use one for heads and one for aux back up lights.. would be a nice clean look too

I voted orange with black stripes. They both look really good in my opinion. Only reason i went with the orange is that the temps will be lower in the summer compared to the truck being all black with orange stripes.
