The system you are thinking of is about the same as the one on my car with the exception being a magnaflow muffler and Y pipe. I think all my pipes are also 2 1/2 from the Y back. The tips are 3". 3" pipe is a little
over kill for these motors, you won't be gaining anything going that big.

Oh how I know that feeling!! I just rebuilt the motor in my 01 ran it for 200 miles and did the first oil change. Started the car and after a few seconds got out and noticed the big puddle under the car.
Go get some more oil tighten the oil filter and started it again. This time I had my daughter in the car so I could look underneath. Arrrgh more oil just spewing out. Took the oil ...

As a fellow 02 SE owner, let me be the first to welcome you to DI! My car was pretty much bone stock when I joined here ( 2 options from the factory) and now its farily well
optioned. We also are crazy about pics here and theres no hiding a DSB car so.....pics! But beware the Mod Bug. It'll get you every time.

What I thought was going to be the "easy" part was removing the OEM
oil pressure switch, installing a brass tee, and reinstalling the OEM switch and also installing the sending unit for the fancy-schmancy gauge (0-100 psi from Summit).
Well my car had other ideas.
Seems Dodge saw fit to use some sort of thread locker on the pressure switch threads - and due to the small ...

it is not hard but be prepared that the bolt can be rust and very hard to turn at that limited space.
although i have no issue with them. but i deliberate took them off and clean the thread with
tap and die and lub with anti size.
