No, the retention setting doesn't apply here. The archive pst should be in the default pst location - outlook should open to the location if you go to file, open, outlookdata file. Or go back to tools, options, other tab, autoarchive and copy the address where the archive pst is - then paste it into the address field of windows explorer.

Thanks, Diane. Yes, the first option you metioned is checked. I got to the Calendar Properties, AutoArchive tab, and the radial button is checked that says "Archive items in this folder using the default settings." At the bottom of this little window it says "The network administrator has not set retention policies." Is that relevant to my problem? If the calendar has been archived can I get the...

1) Not possible. 2) Outlook doesn't support exporting custom fields directly. Quick and dirty method: 1. Put all the items from your form in one folder. 2. Use a table view to display all the data fields that you want to export to Excel. 3. Choose Edit | Select All. 4. Choose Edit | Copy. 5. Paste to Excel....

SAM = Security Access Manager and is not an Outlook related issue. Invalid SAM ID indicates a connection failure with your servers - something changed in your environment which made the SAM ID for the machine you are using invalid between the server and workstation. Are you using BCM?
