Using the standard bulleting feature I don't see any way to do what you describe because the order of the items in the list is determined by the default mechanics of the bullet 'style' which works behind the scenes. I doubt it can even be done with VBA unless you use separate text boxes for each item in the list... But that's out of my realm :-) One approach that does come to mind is to enter your bulleted items...

Published (2009-12-05 11:31:00)
Thanks for replying! I need images 11.08" x 8.58" and 3324 pixels x 2574 pixels. I created the slides at the above size. Powerpoint gives two options for exporting slides as pictures: The first is dpi, the second is pixel count. One would think that, since the above numbers work out to 300 dpi, choosing 300 dpi would give me an image the same size as the slide and the correct number of pixels. Instead,...

How does one activate the display of the page number and date in the footer of PowerPoint charts? .

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have found a weird behavior, when opening a PP document with some excel charts the x-axis shows dates as 2013. Once I either edit data in excel or simply format the axis (with no changes, just invoking hte actions) the axis shows proper (i.e., 2009) year.

Also, is this the right place to complain about the limitations...

Hi Amy;
"Pack and Go"? Wow, that goes back a bit :-)
In File> Save As click the link for "Learn more about file formats". In
particular check out PowerPoint Package, PowerPoint Show (.pps as well as
..ppsx) & maybe even Movie. One of them should fill the bill.

First, run Help> Check for Updates in any of the Office apps. That will
allow AutoUpdate to retrieve 11.5.5 & 11.5.6 for you. I don't believe that
will get you the OXML Converters (1.1.3) though. If not go to:

You have the program set to launch automatically on login.
Control/Right-Click the PPT icon in the Dock to deselect the option in the
