I have two objects with different types (Order and OrderDetails for example). I retrieve them seperately through edmx data model so they were under different object context. How do I relate them together in this case? Assume I can not retrieve them all together for some reason. Order.OrderDetails.Add(OrderDetail) will fail since they are in different object context.

Greetings, I have a datagridview which is created progmatically and all but two of the columns (both DataGridViewCheckBoxColumns) are bound columns to a datatable. One of the checkboxcolumns is used to select row(s) for the purpose of deletion, the code to delete the rows, removes the data from the database and the then datarow(s) from the source datatable (see code below) . http://pastebin.com/m6a414cae The issue I'm having...

I spent the whole week trying to figure out how to do that task before I found this post. When I google OleDB or ADO I can only find general connection sting kinda type of help... but I really want to know what ...

Hello Christiano, before suggesting possibly a better solution, I'd like to know what is your data access technlogy. Are you using ADO.NET directly, Entity Framework, LINQ, etc.? In my opinion it would be fastest to do this field replacement at the dataset level (if applicable), and not at the control level. Also, five...
