  Hi, is there a way how to connect to SQL Server from Windows Forms, when Windows Authentication Mode is set and client (application) runs on a computer not in a domain? Can I use some impersonation? I tried to use LogonUser() from advapi32.dll, but it doesn't work, when computer is not in a domain :( Thanks

  Hey there.. Plz... I'm having this huge doubt... I have a datagridview which is bound with a dataset with data from SQL server. After the grid is bound to the dataset, the DataBindingComplete method is fired... It loops row by row getting the value from a hidden col, replacing it by an image and filling another col with this image. It takes me about 5 seconds to fill 70 rows.. Would it be any faster using the RowsAdded method?...

Hello Christiano, before suggesting possibly a better solution, I'd like to know what is your data access technlogy. Are you using ADO.NET directly, Entity Framework, LINQ, etc.? What you need to do is put all of your connections inside of Using blocks. That way you ensure that all of the resources will be cleaned up.
