We don't know what you actually did when you set up the Exchange (OWA) and we don't know what you did when you setup the ISA,.....so there is no way to answer that.

I didn't know there was a memory leak with ISA 2006 - I use ISA 2004. But if you are referring to the ever increasing amount of memory used when logging with MSDE - that's normal. A proxy e.g. usually only can NTLM, so it is recommended to configure the environment not for NTLMv2 only, but fall back option to NTLMv1. MS-CHAPv2 also only use NTLMv1.
