By appyling EFS encryption to an offline Outlook cached OST file, is the file "safe" unless somebody can logon with the same credentails? I'm questioning if someone wipes out the password of the user who created the encrypted file with a password reset utility, will they will be able to logon as that user and still access the file...

The red shield icon with the white x in it continuously pops up saying I have security problem. It then tries to connect to a web site that says the web page cannot be found. McAfee says i don't have a problem. How do i turn this thing off?

I have a yellow shield with a ! mark in it and a yellow triangle with a ! in it and it keeps popping up things on my screen and trying to get me to download security things. I just need to know how to get rid of it.

I've gotten this update from Microsoft repeatedly and the Update Icon will NOT leave my task bar! Even though I've 'installed' the update (more than once) the icon remains. My XP desktop died and I bought a new Vista Business PC. I salvaged my old SATA HDD and installed it in the new PC. I can access all of the files except the ones in an encrypted folder. Any suggestions how to gain access to these files? Jeff
