I recently had my PC "cleaned up" to increase response time. As a result, it runs faster but when attempting to open selective internet sites (Mapquest, EBay); the systems appears to start the process and then gets hung up. When I look at Task manager, the same 35 processes are open. Is there anyway I can identify which process(es)...

Greetings all, I noticed I cannot run microsoft updates anymore. And when I go into run/services.msc to change the setting fro disabled to automatic, it will not change, therefore I cannot run automatic updates or update anything from the microsoft website. My problem is weird. I can put my desktop into standby, but CPU and power supply fans don’t shut off. All 3 fans used to shut off some time ago (last year?).
