I don't need or want their protection. Would like to go ahead and install Active X. Will work on that next. "Leonard Grey" <l.grey@invalid.invalid> wrote in message...

If you only ever use one profile (i.e. Administrator) you can make a change to the registry that will make the "Start Menu" within that users' "home" folder the only one that the system uses. (e.g. "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu") The changes would be as follows : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]...

Do you know one that can produce one pdf file for every page ? eg : you've got a 2 pages word document. when you...

I use CUTE PDF. I can just say print page 1. Then say print page 2. Kind of cumbersome and annoying if you have many pages, though. I don't ever find myself needing this feature, so it doesn't bother me. Whether or not you think it's "stupid and unnecessary" is irrelevent --
that's how Windows XP was designed. If you try to break Windows, you
will suffer the consequences.
If you are driven INSANE by something as miniscule as the user account
structure in an operating system, you really need to get out more.

You should make an effort to investigate what installed software is giving you this
option to "Save as Scheme"
A very popular product installed with many PCs is "IGFX" (often included with PCs
with Intel Graphics Controllers).

2. It is a serious mistake to try to 'manage' resource allocation. You
are working against the operating system, and that's not a good idea. In
addition, software applications do not know your 'improvements.'
