Published (2009-12-29 22:16:00)
Hi there, I have created a two-minute movie with a mix of four .avi videos, and about a dozen still photos. After I save the mswmm file to the .wmv movie output file, and play it in (my up to date) Windows Media Player. But the movies displays as a swimming conglomeration of green, blue and magenta squares and is totally unrecognizable. I cannot find any documentation anywhere in Movie Maker, Microsoft support or on the web in...

Adendum to first post. Another run of search found the .inf file to install MM in /Service Packs/i386. If I could find a suitable Setup.exe or Install.exe that would let you assigh the .inf file to it I think that would work. .

I recently downloaded Photostory 3 and made a video with one still picture. I was able to send it by e-mail to friends but when I tried to send it to Facebook it did not go through. They said: "The video format you uploaded is not supported by our system. We are always trying to improve the compatibility of Facebook Video, but some videos can be problematic. Try converting the video into a more common format."...
