IE8 Beta " Clashes with Norton Internet Security 2008. Keeps turning it off. Also keeps shutting down. Uninstaled IE8 Beta. Returned to IE7.0.6001.18000 Probs solved.

I start with a google search.. hold CTRL and then Left Click the URL to open a link in a new tab ... the tab opens, the address bar populates with the link, but then I just get the circular icon on the tab that its trying to load. Some times its link specific, sometimes its just tab specific .. such as I can click other links...

Ok, so we've had Beta's 1 and 2. I guess the next stage will be RC1 and possibly RC2. So chaps and chappesses, and of course MVPs, when do you think Microsoft will actually release the final version as the replacement for IE7? Or is all this subject to the Microsoft secret squirrel brigade! (Official Secrets and all that)....

I downloaded the new AIM messenger today, and it hijacked my IE by adding a AIM Search at the top of my tabs when opening a blank one.
