Well 5 days later, Mozilla is now allowing this update for 98. I therefore recant my earlier jeers and say hooray. Hopefully the support will continue.

I have W-98 in my secondary PC. However, W-98 does not support recent jump (pen) drives, thus I am plannig upgrade to Wxp. Have boxed Wxp upgrade version but instructions indicate that the upgrade will "replace" previous OS. I have several important W-98 program that will like to keep, but they will not work properly under Wxp. ...

I just installed a new modem yesterday. A USR V-Everything. The modem works great, but I just right clicked on the dialer button and left clicked on Disconnect. It will not disconnect. I've tried 6 times, and there were no open browsers, or other internet software. WTF????? Has anyone ever had this problem? How 2 fix?...
