After searching many items on the web i have found that the problem was related to prepping the domain with a pre-SP1 version of the 32bit Eval download. I was then attempting to install Ex2007 SP1, which needed to update the schema. I have now prepped with SP1 in the 32bit root domain and everything is working!

If I do not require SSL on the back-end server, I receive the message above. If I turn on SSL on my back-end server, I receive an error message that the page must be viewed over a secure channel. I have installed the same certificate on my BE and FE server because the URL does not change after I try to log in. Thanks! On 15 dec, 07:18, "Ed Crowley [MVP]" <cursp...@nospam.net> wrote: >...

SMTP public folder replication...
Published (2009-12-11 07:11:00)
I have two 2003 exchanges in separate domains. (There is no trust set up between domains) Both companies have a calendar public folder that they would like to have in sync (up to 1 hour lag is OK) I am guessing there is a way to set it up for SMTP replication, but not sure where to start. Has anyone tried this set up? Any guidance will be highly appreciated. Thanks .

Fatal error during installation. Error code is 1603. Last error reported by the MSI package is 'Module D:\Exchange\Bin\ExSMime.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895. Contact your support...

Questions about steps to upgrade...
Published (2009-12-14 10:24:00)
This weekend, we're planning to apply SP2 to our Exchange 2007 environment. We currently have two HUB/CAS servers and two Mailbox servers in a CCR cluster, everything running on Windows 2003 R2. Since the initial setup early last year, I've installed the various Windows patches and Exchange rollups, but this is the first time I'll be installing an Exchange service pack into our cluster (when we started, we used...

Published (2009-12-14 05:25:00)
I have a scanner/fax/printer applicance that can scan to email addresses. Before the migration from SBS2003 to SBS2008, it was working, now it is not. It was set to scan to the IP address of the old server, now it is set to the IP address of the new server. The techs for the appliance say that relaying needs to be turned on for the internal IP address. How do I do this?
