I know this isn't the preferred way of doing things, but when confronted with an SBS box that's gone radioactive on you (again) and whose backups you can't trust, and that suddenly can't run just about anything in normal mode because something is running away with all the server resources, you do what you can with...

You don't need a separate connector for each domain, you just need to list each domain under address space for your one TLS connector. Also make sure the cost for those listed domains is lower than the cost of your default connector. -Peter "tom12010" <tlyczko@gmail.com> wrote in message news:57cbbc55-3f15-489d-...

On the connector, on the addess space tab you neeed to set the option to "allow messages to be relayed to these domains". This will place the domain address space in the accept list and allow it to accept for that domain--by default we only accept mail for the local doman without configuring other domains we can accept.

The reason you have PTR records for your domain and mail server is because some of your users' correspondents' mail servers may look that up and refuse mail from your server as an antispam measure. More details are available here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300171
