I want to be able to place a template in a shared area on a network and for all users to be able to create new workbooks from it with a minmum of disruption for each user. I can then change the template as required without any interference to the users.

When I open workbooks in Excel 2007 the main menu at the top shows, but the
worksheet itself doesn't show--it's just a blank gray screen. If I click the drop-down arrow on the Quick Access Toolbar then my worksheet pops up. So I can still get to it, but it is annoying to have to click that arrow in order to see my worksheets....

I am using another person's computer. when I open a new excel spreadsheet there are numbers at the top for the columns and numbers on the left side for rows. I want letters to destignate the columns. How do I get the spreadsheet back to normal?
