Hofstra Drops Football

QUOTE(statsdawg @ Dec 4 2009, 01:01 PM) What people seem to be forgetting is we Joined the CAA so they would have six full time members playing football now they have four. I'm not sure of the reason for six it might have something to do with the playoffs? I think Hofstra dropping football will catch Roby by surprise. We joined the CAA so the CAA could have a football league. They needed 6 football playing members from...

Hofstra Drops Football

QUOTE(nubobcat @ Dec 3 2009, 04:37 PM) I actually dvr'd francesa today so I could watch some of the talk about it later today. Be interesting to hear the buzz in nyc about it. His interview with the President of Hofstra is pretty good. We get named drop here and there. Basically he said it came down to lack of attendance, and alumni not giving enough.

Three is the minimum in my view...we're playing the worst goalie in HE statistically, Cannata is last in GAA and 2nd to last in Save Percentage. I'm worried about Da Costa, Barton, and Cucci, but I think our defense is getting to a point where they can shut them down if they are playing their best. And for the love of god can we PLEASE get a win in someone else's arena!

Manny played so well during the Towson game last year that I was hoping he'd have a big season, but let's face facts. He plays a very soft style of basketball and you can really beat up on him in the low post and he'll lose his game. Not sure if it's a basketball IQ problem or what, but he can look lost out there at times or he looks like he can't miss a low post shot. From what I've seen of ...

http://www.gonu.com/football/2002/game2.htm Beating up on Ohio in a road game. Ohio actually had a closer game on the road against Florida the week after. Actually made you think the football team was relevant.
