those are called
breadbox filters. they were common on SOHC choppers. To my knowledge, I don't think anyone made them for DOHCs. You may be able to adapt
one to fit though because I know that they made them for the Kaw 900s and the carbs are similar in size and spacing.

I'm going for the bobber look but 2 seater and shocks. Next on the list will be 11" shocks and a
sportster 2 pc. seat. I'm working on making the
rear braces for the fender and i will post more pics when finish.

you should be able to unscrew the collar on the coil and replace the wire. might as well do all of them.
or you could get rid of the garbage stock coils and install
gm hei automotive coils.

Replacement chains can be found that use a master link so that you don't have to split the cases but the real problem lies in that when the chain broke you
may have bent a valve also. You could take a chance on just replacing the chain, resetting the timing, adjusting the valves and hoping for the best but if you
are planning on keeping the bike and getting some real miles out of it then I would ...

I have been in the process of moving into my
grandmothers house (I bought it when she passed away) so it's been money out no end, that is a good deal
though. Weatherford is in the far western part of the state, 250-275 miles I'm guessing from me.
