Crossbows do less damage than a real bow, it is just a smaller version on a stick with a trigger... the point of a crossbow was readyness and could be used indoors easily. On that note though, they could provide this same functionality in game, e.g. normal bow -> insta shot with c-bow. More archery options should be available, e.g. really fast draw time low damage bows versus slow draw time high damage ones. Same with melee, longer...

Excellent idea, and good execution too.
Only downside is that currently market is kinda fucked up by transfers and therefore current values for some items will soon be inaccurate.
How exactly is the average counted on that site? I mean, when lots of data starts to pile up on items, the average doesn´t change as fluidly as the market prices.

I have 100 Weapon smith mastery, 10 bowery mastery and 100 alchemy.. my Trueforge is 96.. It takes a very long time.. Just keep going at it.. it will eventually hit 100..
Don't worry about it too much however.. In Pvp most people like to bring 10 durability weapons out anyhow so I don't consider it to be a huge deal.

Maxxing out your character and player roles
a couple of years ago, there were many forums on what our desire player role/race would be. some people wanted to be armor crafters or axe crafters. other people wanted to be "mace/mage or axe/mage".
the ideology of having a role in the darkfall community is now gone. everyone can "max out" ...
