And so the clearing begins on Oak Cliff's Fort Worth Avenue 10:44 AM Sun, Nov 22, 2009 Roy Appleton/Reporter http://oakcliffblog.dallasnews.com/...-begins-on.html The steel teeth tore into the first building at 9:32 a.m. Saturday, drawing applause and cheers. According to an issue of Apartment living dated Feb 2007 Timbercreek apartments are still featued as rentable units.
Is this a mistake. Lincoln properties is listed as the owner.
Did Trammel give up on the development and sell to Lincoln?

Does anyone really blame them for not wanting Section 8 housing in their city? Look at some of Dallas's most visible Section 8 across 75 from Walmart Neighborhood Mkt... it takes away much more than it adds (if it ads anything at all)
I'd be fighting this tooth and nail if I lived in Sunnyvale.

I am not surprised as I understand the situation it would cost more to knock down and clean up the land then to maintain for another year couple of years. Since its paid for its kinda easy to prop up for a use I am not advocating either way just making discussion. I don't know the exact numbers but a friend of mine who works there and has told me some interesting things about the atmosphere ...

Merged the Aldi thread into this one. Any objections? I could spin out the Aldi-related posts into a separate thread, but they're really all related... discussion of Aldi sparked talk of Trader Joe's (which I keep wanting to call Trader Vic's), and comparisons with Albertson's, Wal-Mart, etc. Just let me know if I've gone overboard with the mergification.
