I agree the event was very nice... lots of great hype generated for the park and lots of people were talking about the hotel too. I did notice that there were the normal DT Dallas unsavory elements loitering across the street around the bus stops in front of the old Library and the old Merc Commerce building. The only thing I'm going to say is that I believe you'll find a lot of people in the "anybody but Perry" camp. I'm certainly there. He's definitely pissed off many people in this state. And his posturing with the legislature is almost second nature now. He doesn't know how to work with people. And he likes to put insane people on the Texas Education Board (which should be eliminated, IMHO)....

Pardon the ignorance, but when y'all say gay church do you mean open and inviting to gays or exclusively gay? My guess would be the later because I know quite a few churches that are open and inviting without being labeled a "gay church."
