I'm with you on that, I reckon the moving camera's overdone. Use all tricks sparingly, that way they have more impact when you do use them.

hey Bluesproggit i'm glad you picked up on that... the sun's rays were phenomenal that day, spilling in through the only windows that shone right on to the bride and her white dress. all you do is expose the camera to suit. it gave her a heavenly glow, so that's a nice touch i guess and as for that text, i was waiting for someone to confirm it's not a good choice. i wanted to do something random, and it hasn't worked....

So Hitler and the BNP were and are lefties then. The right have disowned them then. So I assume the huge crowds that gather to denounce the BNP are all right wingers. Very interesting. The Russians after the revolution had a better life than they did under the old regime and in lots of accounts better than most other non-rich societies. As I said the few years after the revolution was the only socialist system. Just because someone is tagged...

Joel Peregrine regularly uses 5 cameras - and operates them all himself. The freedom to move around each one adjusting shots is something that is unthinkable in this country. That's not just the attitude of the clergy, but the constrictions of the venue itself. Things tend to be a lot bigger in the States! Just watched Hayley & Will's highlights Richard. Lovely stuff, but boy was that a crap camera position given to you or what!

Way back in 2003 (or earlier) I posted on this board a method for adjusting latency timing for the Storm which I found on the web. This method doesn't need a BIOS setting because it just does it for the Storm card via the . INI file.
I searched through my hard drive and found it - so here it is:
'I found some information on the Japan site about changing Latency Timer for ...

i'd pull out the G22 fitting and rewire them with standard screw or bayonet
domestic fittings if i were you. G22 bulbs start at about 500w afaik which
is a bit bright for any kind of domestic usage.

I hope you verified the copies at each move of the files, otherwise you
can't be sure of it. You need to spot through it, checking replay for a few
seconds at a time.

Does the flicker still appear after you have encoded, and burned it to DVD.
Sounds like it could be a graphics card problem. I notice this on
occasions, when using Prem CS4. But its always clear on the DVD. Try
encoding and burning a short clip to a DVD RW and see if its still playing
up.

Sounds about right to me the way this country is being run at the moment.
I bet they would not have allowed her out if she had been doing time for not having a TV licence or been some poor "old dear" who had not paid their rates.

You've really got to think this over carefully and not be rushed into a bad decision.
What are all the potential disasters?
If you get sand/water/Camel spit in the camera at the beginning of the shoot and you have no support or spare camera then you'll be coming home with a useless camera and no shoot. The worst case scenario but a possibility.
You could spend thousands on a camera and ...

Not such a bad idea Maxwell. I know some of us (me included) are guilty of over complicating things sometimes. Difficult in a forum which acters to such a varied audience.
So, maybe a "newbies corner" or your NON-tech-REPLY suggestion might be a way forward.

can't you just keep the HD files? 30G?
It's a pretty small file (by comparrison to today's HDD sizes) and by the time you're asked for BluRay, the format might be an antique.
