Hello, I have hundreds of jpeg files in "My Document" folder that needs to be renamed from something like 347888333_img_1086.jpg to something like that img_1086.jpg How can I do that automatically for all sub folders bellow C:\Users\Philippe\Pictures\ The prefix can be any length. I'm running WinXP Pro Sp-3 and Dopus 9.1.1. Windows Explorer displays unicode filenames correctly (Korean) while Dopus does not. Bizarrely, the unicode is "revealed" when I use the rename function. See screenshot below. Any thoughts? I can't find anything in the manual, help file, or Preferences that controls this behaviour. Thank you, Mike

i have directory opus 9.1.1.0 and tortoise 1.5.3 installed, everything works fine, except one little, but nasty issue: after a commit, i always have to manually hit f5 to refresh the icons, so i can see the correct icon status. anything i can do about that?

right now the only version of WMP i have installed is 6.4, and DOpus doesn't like it. when i try to use the internal player to view video files, it doesn't work right at all. i also don't have video thumbnails, and DOpus doesn't extract any information (duration, size, etc) from video files. i would like to get this functionality working, but i'd rather not install WMP 11. what's the ...

I remember an image rotate context menu appearing in older versions of Directory Opus. I vaguely recall this being a sub-menu Rotate-> 90° clockwise and 90° counterclockwise. I was able to extract the dopus commands from the image viewer pane, but out of curiosity was wondering if anything like this exists? I commonly rotate thumbnail images in the lister pane. one of the best features of vista's explorer is the top right search bar that acts like the dOpus Filter but theirs is better cause it works recursively. i know you could possibly achieve this by using a flat view then filtering but that is a lot more work then with the vista explorer... is it possible to make the dOpus Filter work recursively ? its a shame that microsoft ...

thumbnail mode + FFD show = always using FFDshow even when just reading a thumbnail that was already generated in Dopus. I use FFDshow for .flv and other video filetypes to generate a thumbnail but it seems that Dopus needs FFDshow to read just the thumbnail which I thought would be a static image.
