I was looking on the web for some inspiration so I could get on with putting a bit of a lean to around the back door. I thought a few fence posts with a board on top and some trellis at the other end would be rough and ready but do the trick for a few quid and i could always recycle the materials after winter. I stumbled across this website www.budgetshelters.co.uk £750 quid ! For 4 fence posts, a sterling board and some trellis ! I thought...

The pressure relief valve (PRV) should really lift at around 3 bar.....reduce the pressure by bleeding water off from a convenient radiator bleed valve...it takes a while and you may need to lose half a bucket or so but its a boiler friendly way! Reduce the pressure to around 1.5 bar. Your wife opened the 'filling loop' - the device that forces mains pressure cold water into the central heating system. John

Cash on completion is hardly rare. None of the carpet sheds will deliver and fit unless full payment is made before delivery. Add in that when goods are in a customers property, and the customer decides they don't like the colour / made a mistake, then getting money is near impossible without court action. Sorry, but I do think your post is trivial and pointless, more so ...

Do you want an open wardrobe inside, or sectioned for each door? in which case you could use more mdf fixed to rear wall ceiling and floor to hang doors on, use at least 5 kitchen hinges for tall doors. If you use timber frame face the edge with more mdf for a consistant finish.

I have a victorian house with a septic tank - a large tank with soakaway. My main bathroom's has an intermittent smell of sewer gas. We've removed an AAV from under the floorboards believing it to be the problem. A second AAV exists in the chimney stack of the bathroom. The smell returned so we ran a vent pipe from our 3rd fl attic bathroom out through the roof (we did'nt have...

I have a big house (250m2) which is in need of total renovation and I am planning the new design. Currently there is an old gas central heating system with loft tank, immersion tank and several pumps needed to push the water around etc. 16 radiators. The house is well insulated. Despite the large house, there are only 2 of us and it is occupied all day. I do not intend to plan ...
