Re ran Avenger with quoted text and when the laptop went to reboot, the same thing happened. I did not change any RAID or BIOS settings as I am not familiar with them. Should I do this by following the thread in the hardware section or are there any other steps I should take? Thanks for your patience! Paul

To see the message traffic from this you can...

Welcome to CTH PaulMcD,
The log does show malware active there. It also shows both AVG and that COMODO Internet Security installed and running. As you can only have one antivirus software installed on any one computer, I am assuming you did not select to include the Comodo antivirus with it's install. If by chance you did you will need to disable all security software, then choose and ...

Welcome to CTH NeilAB,
Let's take a look.

As I responded to Dan in the other forum:
Thanks Dan. Yes, I did a clean-up, deleted all the temps and my hardrive is 91.5GB free space of 144GB. I realized later that I probably posted in the wrong area but didn't want to keep reposting until I was sure. It's probably a bug, or a missing file when I took care of one. Thanks again. Charlie

Welcome to CTH McClellan.D,
In Task Manager, look under the Processes tab, and if anything similar to random numbers (eg. 34857236.exe), or perhaps single alphabetic character or short file names show (eg. msa.exe, or a.exe) then click to hilight each of those, and click End Process. Careful of course, to avoid shutting down the wrong item.
Then see if you can get some log info to ...

Hello xpguy9,
Not seeing malware in this view, but likely the steps you have already done tol out the more obvious stuff. Let's check further.
If you would though, use the Edit button in your last post and remove that active link to that website. No need for it to be there where someone might click it by accident.
