You can't really give thanks for something that hasn't happened, so it is IMPOSSIBLE to vote for #1.
That leaves no option but to vote for ......#2. If you want to vote that is.
I would give thanks for the Revolution but I don't think I can include Fidel and Raul --- just doesn't seem right --- kind of deifies them.
So I'm abstaining.
