Nuno, I'd be up for it. Would it be possible to train together if I was more interested in training for the
Carlsbad Marathon?

Matt and
Kurtis are signed up that I know of. I'm not sure how much either of them have been on the message board lately, so you might want to contact them via email.

Sunday 9/27/2009 -- Las Vegas 1/2 Ironman Triathlon. Completed in 7 hrs, and a few extra seconds. Might have to do another one to get it under 7 hrs =). Trained for the event with
CrossFit and CrossFit Endurance only. Longest ride was about 30 miles, longest run about 8 miles during the 5 months of training. If I had any doubts before about CrossFit/CFE, I don't now. I'm a believer.

I took a peek at the web site(s) and to be honest, if you're already doing crossfit on a regular schedule they probably aren't necessary. Essentially, they are prescribing 5 weeks of linear progression then 1 week of decreased work load before a PR attempt. If all you want to do is maybe get 100 push ups, 200 sit ups and squats after 6 weeks of 1 or 2
hours of work per day this is a good option...
