that is a pretty stitch! I am not sure if have seen it used in an afghan; I think there are some rather similar afghan patterns out there. I think it would make a pretty afghan. It might be a little too holey to be used with kids or pets that would be rough on it, but otherwise i think it would be very pretty.

You'd have thought I made an heirloom afghan! That was 2 1/2 years ago and I've been addicted to...

What is the exact name of the yarn and color name. I am looking out my office window at a Hobby Lobby (which on the surface seems wonderful - but my wallet says otherwise) and would be happy to check it out for you today.

I used to be the same way. Now, even though I see LOTS of patterns I like, I ask myself, "am I really going to enjoy making this?" or because I like to crochet wearables (for myself) I have to ask myself "am I REALLY going to wear this?" also there are tons of free patterns online, so I will look to see if there is something similar to what was in a book I saw, then save it....if I haven't ...

Greetings from SWFL! I swear I have had the privilege of sitting back and watching the numbers of Floridians here grow, which gives me so much encouragement! Obviously most people don't associate Florida with activities such as crocheting, but then again many if not most of us are northern transplants anyway. I'm originally from Ohio myself, Toledo to be exact.
Well, nice to meet you! And ...

Hey, you at least are doing something worthwhile with your time. People who make these kinds of comments are (like I said in another post) the same people who sit around playing video games for hours on end or watch hours of mindless reality TV.
There are all sorts of people who crochet nowadays. When I was at my SnB group at our local Starbucks, we ran into some young teenagers, and one ...

Hey everyone, My name is Daisy and I just joined a few minutes ago. I've always enjoyed crocheting but I'm not really that good at it. I'm a beginning photographer (don't really want to call myself ametuer because of the 2 years I spent in college for it but I don't have enough experience to call myself professional) and I've taken a special in making props like ...
