Welcome from Florida! Wow, you have made a lot of stuff. You have been a busy girl! I don't work anymore, so I crochet all day. Soooo wonderful! I take my crochet with me also. I went with my mom and brother to the east coast to visit my aunt and uncle, and I had my little bag all packed. My mom said "You're taking that?" And I said "Oh yeah, I can be crocheting all that time."( 3 hours each way)...

Welcome Karen, your intro led me on a crash course of English geography, and our, not quite, shared language. My fourth grade teacher would probably be proud of my retained geography. She might also be happy with my higher math skills, because I didn’t even need to take of my shoes to figure out that my fourth grade would have been in 1959. Alas my memory didn’t quite take me to West Yorkshire. I am afraid, that given a...

I don't explain things very well, this is for a homeless family that a coworker is sponsoring for Christmas. I don't know if I will be able to get two blankets done by that day. So, that's why I'm asking.

Welcome from a Kiwi in New Zealand.
An eyelet row is usually a row of holes to thread a cord through.
A gussett is an extra bit, usually under a pleat to allow for more room.
A grommet is usually a metal ring which can also be an eyelet. A bit like the place on your shoes where you thread the laces.
Hope this helps.
Have fun.

Actually, I hang mine from the collar of my tshirt and aim it at what I'm working on. I don't know if I could deal with it in my hair.
