There is no "replace" battery warning, Because of the type of battery it is when they are to the point of needing replacement the main sign besides not holding a charge or short battery time usage is heat. As electronics go heat is not your friend. I have not seen any instructions on how to open your player but if you Google it you may find some. The only way to find out what battery you need to replace is to get it open to look at...

Hello Stella, Wecome to Creative forums! Open your device manager and observe what happens when you connect your Zen Mozaic. Does it detect it? Does it have an error message?

Well guys I'm officially done with Creative. I spoke to another tech support rep today and he said he too has a SB card and his card also does not work in Windows 7 and that we're just going to have to wait for new drivers. To me this is unacceptable that they don't have working drivers considering how long windows 7 has been available in it's beta forms and the majority of the other sound card vendors out there DO...

I didn't know I could put in a bigger drive. I currently am using over 38 of my 40GB, so something to think about if I get it working with Vista and/or Windows 7. I could just solve all these headaches by replacing this 6-year old player with something new, but they all do too much now. I just want something that plays music and has large storage capacity. I am curious--what is the longest someone has had one of these Creative players...

Im getting the same issue here im actually on my second XFI2, first one battery died within first week. got a new xfi2 now but it still suffers from the lock issue. What i hate is it doesnt matter if its auto or manual lock, it still locks the player out until the album is played out and idle switch off will get it. This player definatley requires another firmware update. Whats even ...

Folks, I really hope this isn't a stupid question for this forum. It seems though that the crew here would certainly know this answer and have a suggestion or comment. I have not seem mention of this condition anywhere I have looked on the web (google, creative labs site). I stumbled on this forum through my search. The SB24_VTDRV_LB_1_04_0077 driver I am using for my recently purchsed (...

There will be no fix for this issue. Creative has everyone in a position right now where they face the choice of buying a new sound card if they really want hardware audio. Their business strategy will not allow them to correct the issue, they know they will likely lose a few customers, but they also know that a good percentage will simply upgrade to the Creative card that works (PCI-x version...

FIrst things first CHARGE THE BATTERY since your player is a Zen Xtra then you can upgrade the firmware to the PFS version & it will work on a Vista computer32/64 bit. Be aware that once you upgrade the firmware you can NOT go back to the old one. Yes it MUST have WMP10 installed on the XP to execute the firmware file. If you have the install disc that came with the player install that software ...

FIrst off format the player directly. NOT thru WMP. Boot the player into Rescue?Recovery mode & format >cleanup>reboot. have the battery charged & connected to the power supply while doing that. Then go ahead & load the player but do NOT try to sync the whole library at once do it smaller doses.(like 1/4 at a time) After each session do a Cleanup>Reboot. Then continue until your done. In WMP the...

I sent a message to Creative support yesterday identifying my problem regarding the Creative card not being detected. In the response they recommended that I uninstall and then reinstall the drivers again. I will give that a try although I am doubtful that it will make a difference because I just did a clean install of WIN 7 Pro on the weekend but I will give it a try. I would ...
