QUOTE(Progarchives @ Jul 14 2006, 12:39:58 PM) Late 1976. One of my mates at school gave me a tape of All The World's A Stage which his brother had brought back from Canada. Two milliseconds after hearing ByTor I was hooked forever.... Amazingly that is exactly how I got into Rush!

I have a black arch-top PRS SE and I thoroughly recommend it. Plays great. Sounds great. Looks pretty classy. Oh, and it's VERY light and doesn't hurt my neck like a Les Paul!

Damn hilarious is what it is. QUOTE (Uncyclopedia) Geddy Lee (Born June 66, 2112 B.C.), is the Allah of bass guitarists from the magical, unknown/uncared about land known as Canada, where the sweet, precious syrup called "Maple" which many people like to put on their pancakes/waffles flows from trees, people beat the crap out of each other with L-shaped sticks on a bed of ice over a ...

Understand the brewmastering/technological achievement it is to brew a 32% beer. We are talking about getting yeast to consume malt at an optimal rate and grow over a much longer period of time than is normal. Distilled spirits get these rates because they are, well, distilled. I still don't understand what is the difference between whether it is beer or whisky, or whatever. Its all ...

I don't know who most of those people are but knowing how Steven Wilson is so concerned with sound quality I'd choose him.

Year after year, this is a fun little event that anyone can do. Maybe you can't afford airfare or swing the time to go to a messageboard event on the west coast, but you can do this. I'm happy to be working this event this year!

QUOTE (cavesoficeman @ Nov 23 2009, 07:18:03 PM) Hopefully all of rush is currently in Los Angeles. Given that Thanksgiving in Canada occurs in October , wouldn't the band all enjoy a little American style TG here in socal? Besides, they haven't looked me up yet. I have to get down to Amoeba records so as to bump into Ged and Al record shopping. I think a shorter release is ...

We're having the standard.. turkey wrapped in bacon, sage sausage stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie. It's only the immediate family this year, so everything should be pretty easy.

QUOTE How important is Rush in your life?? Who? Oh yeah. They were my favourite band for a long time but ultimately that's what they are, a band. People that I'll likely never meet and if I do it will be a "Smile, *flash* thanks and next ". I find myself listening to them less and less but when I do listen I enjoy most of it.
