love this!!!! This is filling meal. Mexican cornbread casserole is easy to make, and it makes full meal. There are nursing homes with Alzheimers units. Probably will cost more. My former MIL had Alzheimer and was in a special nursing unit just for that for the last 5/6 years of her life. I didn't go see her, for reasons I don't want to get into on this board, but my kids did visit her. She was well taken care of, but it was very expensive. I become somewhat of a germophobe during flu season... making an

I take my sauerkraut and fry it in a bit of butter along with thinly sliced onions, a teaspoon or 2 of white sugar and fresh ground pepper...I then serve it with lean pork chops, buttery mashed potatoes and a green salad...Yum!

These make a lot depending on what size you make them. I usually make them a little smaller than the walnut-size ball of dough. I think this recipe makes around 5-6 dozen large cookies.

I think that the question is not inappropriate. I think it is more weird that you think it is. If you don't exchange gifts....like me and DH do not....just say so, I really do not think that this gal is being nosey or rude....just a question. I think she has done a lot of good. I no longer watch her unless it is someone I want to see. I have never been on tv but feel when you ask a question letting them answer is the most important. She always seem to know more.

That is so funny, I just beige my way and add color in pillows or
accessories. You are good to take that color on. Is this your son's house?
Just take your time, no rush tell son everything can't get done fast. I
think you are Mom of the year, you do so much, sometimes just take a little
time out. Everything gets done in their own time. I know kids want it all
done fast. Sometimes it doesn't work...
