For too many years I have kept this big old ATX system alive with upgrades and repairs; I have tolerated it's loud whirring fans that resonate through the over sized tinny case like some industrial air handling unit. But for no longer... I have decided that it is going, I want a really small machine, one that is extremely quiet, yet capable. I've had an ambition to build a
mini ITX computer ...

I have a gateway that I got used for my sister. Trying to put a clean image of XP on it from an
nlite image that I have used reliably for two other builds. The Problem: I have gotten so far as to delete the partitions and create a new one, then the power turns off. The computer is plugged in so battery is not an issue. The thing just keeps turning off. Thoughts? Thanks ~A

You can also use Compatibility mode to always have a program to Run as an administrator. What you shouldn’t use compatibility mode for is antivirus programs or system utilities. If the ...

Ever since I was little I can
always remember playing with my first tape deck recording and so fourth. That has never left me I still do it now. (But not using tapes any more) I was wondering what do people like to record, if they do. My dream (sad as it may be) would to be to make my own sound library, which I could then use in any stories, or scripts I record in. I do like to sing and ...

I loved this game so much I bought it for the Xbox 360. The game of the year version comes with all the major add ons for the game, including SI. It comes with two discs and you have to install the 2nd disc to the hard drive before you play the main game. Also make sure you are connected to live as I know there was a bug in SI, so an update may be needed to make it run more smoothly. If ...

Anyway, what would be your recommendations...

Sorry to everyone for being away for two years, but I have had some mental
