I really like that blessing too. Here it is: "May we always have a roof above us, food before us, and love between us."

Love it! I always make comments when a restaurant has a comment card, but it seems like few restaurants have them. I have occasionally written a letter, but I love this card idea. I just printed some out. I have a gluten-free co-worker so I printed a page of the food allergy version for her. The only suggestion I have is to make them a bit larger so the font is not so small. Thanks!

hi tbelle - i haven't trasitioned my cat to a vegan diet because i've heard mixed reviews and i'm afraid of creating a health problem for her. i am conflicted though, and would really like her to be vegan so i give her vegetarian kibble and canned wet food so she eats half as much meat as she used to. it's a start and at least it's not quite as many animals as she used to eat. there is also ...

Salutations to Tonya and others alike in the Wisconsin Area and beyond. There is a wonderful Vegan Meetup Group as well in Madison that meets I think bi-monthly on Saturdays, and visits various restaurants to find out / discover what is "Vegan on the Menu." Also a great way to meet other vegans and people with similar intrests to health and wellness and being of mind. Though I have yet to go ...

"The white-tailed deer is arguably Minnesota's most popular wildlife species. Each year, approximately 500,000 hunters harvest roughly 200,000 deer. " That quote is from the Minnesota DNR website. I love how they call it a "harvest." Doesnt that sound a bit Orwellian? They claim we have to kill so many deer or they'll end up living in our basements or something, but I'm sure the real reason...

NPR has been a big disappointment to me for quite a while, especially (political) Science Friday. That show covered climate change/global warming topics almost exclusively for 8 years, then dropped it like a stone as soon as a new administration in Washington began. Since then, just about every time I turn on the show, I hear "scientists" claiming things like eating meat makes us human, or that ...

I had to give that one a listen again...what she said was that b-12 is produced by bacteria and bacteria love to grow on meat.... no mention of feces that I heard. I did leave the room for a few seconds but I doubt it was said at that point. Anyway, B-12 is produced by bacteria.....animals ingest it and then once it is in their system, It binds with protein ....I guess it would be bound to any ...
