http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/5441622...gd__.html?p=5,1 In Gorredijk, Friesland, on Friday two men were arrested for threatening and throwing beer bottles at ambulance workers. They called the ambulance because they thought one of them had to be taken to the hospital. Once at the scene, however, the ambulance workers decided not to bring the man to the hospital. That's when the men attacked. The ambulance workers called police. This...

Inburgerings Exemptions?

No, you're exempt from doing any tests BEFORE coming, but you're not exempt from the civic integration course for settling here. There are other options, the regular bunch will be along soon with answers for someone that has been here as long as you have - I'm afraid I'm not clued up on those. Do you speak Dutch? There's always exemption examination as an easy opt-out.

Lets see, you had no ID, plenty of people end up in a police cell until their ID is brought into the police station. I have even seen stories of people ending up in prison for the weekend while they wait to see a judge. Plus there can be a big fine for it, if the plod in question had not made their ticket quote. Bummer. I think you will have to get one of those big industrial sized clamp thingys that cuts off locks. Try a locksmith or try a bike repair shop, but if they have to go out there .. they will charge you for their time of course.

Hi hannahts, First inform local gemeente where you live, about the name change. Gemeente will require an official proof of your name change. If you obtained a new passport with the new name, that would suffice. Gemeente then changes your name in GBA (Gemeentelijke basisadministratie van persoonsgegevens) system. Get extracted copy of your new information (Uittreksel Burgerlijke Stand) from...

Hi all, I will be relocating to Amsterdam in January. I have sold my home in the UK. I have not sorted out a job yet. How does she make this sh!t up? You'd think even she would get bored lying and miss-representing other people's positions eventually. It's the sad fete of the rampant conservative, I suppose. If you can't defeat your opponent's stated position - then simply invent a new one that suits you better.

It is the reverse-Reformation - the government is selling carbon indulgences. Have you noticed the shift in language? Global warming is now climate change. When the sun spot cycle kicks in and people are freezing their a$$es off, the government will still be taking its piece of the carbon trading scam.
